Purchased my stone, now Kay's or Jared question?

Like many of the people on here I made the mistake of going to Kay's. Doesn't every kiss begin with Kay? Anyways, that was many moons ago. I'm looking for an upgrade now, I finally purchased my Yellow Diamond this morning from Leibish!

My question is they will buy my wedding set back 100% for the $3100, as long as I buy something that's double.
Do you think it's a good idea to buy the setting from there for my new Yellow?
Or, should I attempt to sell it myself?
Since Jared is a sister store of the, they will buy back my rings as well.

If you now think Kay's was a mistake first time round, will you think the same on your second go? And why do you think the first was a mistake?

Is there now a set in Kay's or Jared's that makes your heart sing? And will work well with your yellow diamond? If yes, then by all means get it. But spending "double" to get the full buy back doesn't make sense if there is nothing you love.

Sell the old setting yourself on preloved or diamondbistro or eBay or Loupetroop.

And then look around ALL the vendors for your perfect setting.


P.S. can we see pictures of your yellow diamond? And stats?
