I was requested to start a thread for my new David Klass ring, so here you go.

I purchased this 3.77ct purple garnet from a fellow PSer awhile back when she was off loading some of her beautiful stones. I loved the look of this stone even before it was listed, so I lucked out when it came up for sale.

It took me over a year to set, just because I knew I wanted something totally different than what I already had in my jewelry box. I saw a chunky bezel setting and also have always loved the Tiffany etoile collection. Amy @ DK did a fabulous job of marrying the two visions together to create my new ring.

I love that there is an old world yet modern vibe to it, and the placing of the diamonds remind me of the night sky.

I am beyond pleased with how it all came together, and definitely feel I have something unique and different than my other rings.

So so lovely! The fourth pic of the profile is . How much does it weigh out of curiosity?

I love:kiss2: everything about this ring!

Tiffany etoile was the first thing that came to mind when I saw your luscious ring. My platinum band was inspired by that scatter design. Your ring is beautiful, enjoy!!

Beautiful!
That gem and that setting so belong together.
Great job!

Like the ring itself? It's not heavy to wear at all.
Definitely spins a little as most top heavy rings do, but I put a small rubber sizer on the band and it doesn't spin now.

I really love this ring! :kiss2: I swear I swooned when it came up on DK’s Instagram because that setting just does it for me. There’s something so old world about it. It feels very royal (and the purple certainly doesn’t hurt that vibe).

To clarify, I didn't mean that it looked like it was going to be too heavy, more that it looks so substantial and I was curious! It's a very tactile looking piece that's for sure!

Your setting is perfect for that luscious purple garnet! These gems look especially good set in yellow or rose gold, IMO :-)
