Q's on first purchase of Sapphire - purchased loose stone

Re: Q's on first purchase of Sapphire - purchased loose ston

Congrats -- I hope you love it in person (otherwise I will feel awful)! Best of luck and definitely stop back to show off your finished project.

I also love montana sapphires -- that etsy site seems to have some nice ones. Gemfix also seems to have some beautiful montanas in larger sizes and some with what looks like great color for that type of stone (but unfortunately for larger budgets!).

Great success! Took awhile to get the setting together but it looks wonderful. Thanks all for the advice, couldn't have done it without you.

What a beautiful ring, prockman!

LOL at your picture, TL. I'd like to see more pictures, too.

Wait - we're all hanging here! How did you have it set? Was it locally done or bought online? Did you design the setting or have one specifically made for the stone or was the stone sufficiently calibrated to fit in a pre-made setting? Details!
