question about weight on this 18ktGold Bracelet

this 18kt. YG bracelet is close to what I have been looking for.( minus the diamonds)

the weight is listed as 17.5 grams
16.1 mm wide

Question: is this weight ok for a bracelet of this size?
I want chunky and one with some weight. I doubt it is solid.

8" long, which will probably be too big for me, but don''t ya think
it looks easy to reduce the size a little.

I like the bracelet myself ,and 17.5 grams is a good amount of gold...but...if the links are hollow then it wont matter how heavy the piece is when the links start to bend or dent from wear...18 karat is soft and if hollow...those links will calapse when pressure is applied...and most of the time not repairable...wear for special occationsd only type of jewelry.

After looking at the picture again you can see that the links are hollow.
