Growing up, he was one of my favourite actors for being very elegant and dashing, especially in the musical The Sleeper And The Rose as the prince.

R.I.P..

DK :confused2:

As a young girl I watched him in Dr. Kildare. Never watched Shogun or The Thorn Birds.

I read his memoir Shattered Love: A Memoir a few years ago. A worthwhile read for fans.

I loved him too. Dr. Kildare, Shogun, loved both of them. I didn't know he had died and am sorry to hear it.

Loved watching him in all his movies.
He was a true artist.
RIP Mr Chamberlain

HI:

How sad. I admired his work.

cheers--Sharon

I have no words, except to say that I don’t usually shed tears over the passing of actors, but I did today.

A wonderful actor. May he rest in peace.

A very dashing Aramis!

As the Prince in The Slipper And The Rose :kiss2:

DOH - it is 'Slipper' as in glass slipper, and not Sleeper!!!

He was so lovely. I am so lucky to have met him, however briefly (okay, at a book signing, but still.)
