Hey All!

Today I spent alot of time going through all your great posts, showing off your beautiful rings.
As much as I love the detail of your pics, and the focus of the diamond, there are very few pics of the ring from a distance.

So I am asking if anyone would like to share their rings, but from afar??? Close enough to see them of coarse, but more from a distance so that we can get an idea of what the average person in real life sees.

I am looking for solitaires, 3-stones, halos!!!! Thanks in advance :)

Hi EyeElle,

Are these far enough away (yet also close enough) to help?

If you want specs...1.62 ct HOF RB, VS1 clarity, I color, in the HOF Felicity Ribbon setting, paired with a 1.5 ct HOF Multiplicity eternity band.

Hehe, my solitaire is kind of boring. It just looks like a white shiny dot!
That is a good way to really see how great a ring looks. My SO is preoccupied with the specifics of the ring, and me, well I am all for the setting lol So its good to see how it all looks. Thanks, its beautiful :)

What a great thread, EyeElle!

Here''s mine. 1 ct princess in halo. I meant to do this for you the other day, but I got sidetracked. Excuse my messy desk.

Here is my ring, it is a 1.5 round brilliant w/trillion side stones each .25. I think I wear a size 5 or 5 1/4.

This is the farthest away I could get with my short arms. LOL

My ring size is a 7 too, which is monster compared to most of the ladies on here with such tiny hands.

ok - 2 photos from me, and i''m SO sorry my big HEAD is in both of them! it definitely gives you perspective tho!

so - here''s the first one; my golden sapphire triple - 1.75ct sapphire, with .7ct (1.4ctw) diamond on each side. finger size is an 8. (ya need a lotta rock to cover a finger that size!!)

and can i just say....Skippy - how cute are you??! love that photo! and maisie - great manicure! :D

and here''s another one - on one finger is my diamond flower ring - not entirely sure of specs - about .75 in the middle with 8 x .2ct around the outside. and on my pinkie is my eternity band - 20 x 13.5pt stones. certainly shows that rings can be very obvious indeed!

1.5ct M I1 on size 7.5 hand.
I gotta tell you Maisie, that ring looks fabulous on you!

It makes me feel better to see a few more ladies with hands that are at least a size 7. LOL

Whitby, that's a nice flower ring. I was actually thinking of doing a similar flower ring for my e-ring, with 1.5 center and 8 x 0.2 "petals", but I am wordering if it would be too big on my size 6.5 finger. Would you mind posting a few more pics of your flower ring? Maybe a close up :)
Sorry that I am off-topic for this thread...
Maybe you should start a "flower rings" thread? :)
Thanks!

Maisie,

Your new ring is absolutely gorgeous!!!

I just love the proportions of your rings to your hand. I''m about the same size as you so I was wondering if you could tell me how wide your ering and band are?

Thanks!

Ditto - you can really get out of whack with these (wonderful) close-ups!
