Real or fake blue sapphire?

Trying to identify real or fake

Found this in an old family box. Trying to identify if it is a real or a fake. Looking from far gives an indication of a blue sapphire, but I have my doubts so asking experts in the forum! Would appreciate if you can help. Thanks!
