Recut is Done!

I recently inherited my MIL diamond engagement ring. It was a larger stone but not well cut. So I sent it to BGD for a recut analysis.

Today I got the recut photos from BGD. Now the stone is off to AGS for grading.

Wow, it looks great!! How much size did it lose to get that hot new body?

It was 1.25 and is now a 1.07 but the diameter was very small for a 1.25 - it was 6.76 and is now 6.60

It is going into a pendant - with a flower pattern around it in diamonds, citrines and tanzanites.

Very pretty stone. And I must say I am very interested to see what the pendant will look like. Do you have any inspiration photos to give us an idea of what you're going for.
