So while I like the idea of blue shoes.. I haven''t actually found any in person that seem like they''d actually look good under any wedding dress..... but I did happen to find these amazing red shoes that were the most comfortable heels I''ve ever tried on... but now I can''t find them online anywhere! I don''t know if they''re just too new or what.. it''s a simple mary-jane style heeled shoe (I''ll try and attach the pic I have), so I''m having no problem finding lots LIKE it, I can''t find that specific shoe. It''s by nine west, and I have scoured their website to no avail

I found these at the DSW near me, and I''m so tempted to just buy them already even though the wedding isn''t till next September, and I haven''t even tried any wedding dresses on other than my friends (she literally MADE me do it, if I hadn''t complied I''m sure she would''ve ripped my clothes right off of me! lol). But still...

Anyone have any suggestions on why I can''t find them ANYWHERE online? I didn''t think it would be so hard. Though I guess I don''t NEED to find them online.. I suppose I just find it odd that I can''t?

But the REAL point of my long rambly post (sorry!) is this question: is it ridiculous to buy shoes for the wedding when it''s still almost a year away and I haven''t even really tried dresses on? I mean, if I changed my mind or anything I could still just wear them in general, but I feel weird I guess?

Ok... it''s not letting me upload right now, so I''ll try again in a few minutes :)

I suspect that DSW sometimes has shoes that are not carried in other places (i.e. 9 west makes specific shoes only for DSW), cause I''ve had that problem before too.

It''s not ridiculous, especially if they are not wedding-y shoes and you like them enough that you''ll wear them anyway, even if you decide you''d like something different!

I think if you''d be able to wear them for non-wedding events, why not! Then if you change your mind it won''t matter because you''ll still be able to use them!

I say get them. A girl can never have too many pairs of red shoes anyway!

Ok, I changed the name for my file (I guess it was too long before?) and heres the picture I have of them, keep in mind it''s from a cell phone so the color is off, but it gives you the idea I guess. They were just sooo comfortable! I had actually was looking around to find some blue shoes, but found these instead :)

This is one of the dresses I had saved on my computer from before we were engaged, it was from somewhere on the knot, but I have no idea who makes this dress and haven't seen it (or really anything very similar) anywhere I've looked so far (online). Of course, I haven't even tried dresses on yet, I guess I'm scared to go shopping... but I do think that those red shoes would be fine under a dress more like this one....

but would they look weird under a dress like this? It just seems that they are too chunky for underneath something like this, and I really LOVE this style and though I know I really need to go start trying dresses on to see what works on my body, I am really hoping I can pull this style off because it's just so gorgeous!

In any case, maybe I should wait till I at least take a real look at some wedding dresses and find out what style looks good on me, because I really think that these red shoes I love so much would stick out in a bad way under this more dainty dress.. *sigh*

I'm horribly indecisive

Thanks you guys so much for the answers, I think I'll get the shoes anyways and just wear them when I'm in the need for a bit of color :)

So what kind of shoes DO you wear under a dress like this second one? It's a September wedding in Wisconsin, so the weather is kind of a toss up. It might be boiling hot outside, or it could be freezing cold. I've always pictured dresses like this with some kind of dainty strappy sandal... but I'd really prefer closed toe shoes, I feel like peep toes would be a good compromise, but unfortunately they are sooo uncomfortable for me I can't wear them for more than five minutes. I also can't wear sling backs because I can't keep them on my feet! They are forever slipping off

Whats a girl to do?! And there I go rambling again!
