I'll keep waiting. I really miss my ring, and it seems everyone who finalized their designs when I did, got theirs. So hard to wait! I feel like a petulant 5 year old. And maybe I'm acting like it.

And if this wait keeps up, I won't have any money left for the wedding band. I keep jewelry shopping and just got a gorgeous 40th birthday diamond ring. I'll make a SMTB thread hopefully today. I got it from Ivy and Rose (My Diamond Zone) and it took less than a week to set the stone and have it in my greedy little hands. I couldn't be happier!

Thanks to all who helped me make decisions, and have been holding my hand while I wait.

I just got pictures tonight! And paid the paypal so it should be here early next week. 2.12 carats of G VS french cuts. I didn't know the carat weight of the french cuts was going to be so much. And I had our initials engraved inside.

He's going to do a video, too.

What do you guys think? I was worried about the oval with the tapered french cuts since I hadn't seen one before but I think the proportions and design go well together. My husband loves it. He says it's much more beautiful than the original and very classy. It's much better than he thought.

Right now for a wedding band I am going with the pink diamond rose gold I have been wearing. I have some wedding band ideas, but I want to wear it a bit before I make a decision.

I love the double claws, the beautiful milgrain and the little diamonds in the profile.
2.12 ct is quite a high carat weigth for french cut sides. I love that David used 9 stones on each side so you will only see liquid diamond sides when you wear the the ring.
Looking forward to see your pics when you have received it. Your stunning oval center looks great with the french cuts.
