Thank you, especially your comment on it looking big on my finger, that is what I hoped for.Congrats... It looks huge on your finger... Nice setting
Thank youCongrats on your new ring, it is beautiful in its rose gold setting!
Thank you!Lovely diamond and I love the rose gold halo!
Anyone interested in purchasing my Elyque and setting?
Let me know
Thanks
Yes I did just get, but I’m having an OCD moment with the halo. There are spaces between the diamonds. Love the Elyque just not the halo.Oh no. I hope everything is okay. You just got this and seemed to love it.

Thank you for asking
@Sunshine812 Your ring is beautiful, and I’m sorry that you’re unhappy with it to the point of looking to sell it already. I understand not wanting to see the metal between the halo diamonds; that would bug me as well. Have you considered asking the vendor to try remaking the setting so that there is less metal showing between the halo diamonds? Or perhaps changing just the head to white gold or platinum so that the metal between the halo diamonds is less obvious? Just a thought.
I find that common with rose and yellow gold. White gold and platinum blend into the diamonds so you don’t see the prongs as easily but yellow and rose created little lines between each stone. I learned that the hard way with my original wedding band but now I love the look. I find halos in white/platinum have a crinkled tinfoil look to them but colored metal makes the diamonds more defined.
For what it's worth (which is nothing, really), I like seeing tiny spacing or metal prongs between the diamonds as long as the prongs are not blob-like or huge. The close crowding of diamonds in a halo and between the main diamond and halo diamonds looks frenetic and messy to me--almost like it's one big diamond with mushy facets all around the edge. But that's me, not you. I agree that the metal color accentuates the spaces. I can clearly see the same spaces in the white metal rendering, but it does take more looking to see it, than it does in the rose gold version. From the vendor's perspective, I can understand why custom pieces are not refundable. But on the other hand, I would want my obviously unhappy customer to have some recourse. I hope something works out for you. The ring is absolutely gorgeous, as is. It may not be for you, but it is gorgeous. Whether you get it remade, sell it to someone else, or learn to love it and wear it yourself, I hope the process is as painless as possible for you. This should bring you joy, not sadness. You definitely have my empathy and well wishes.
Thank you, I definitely will, but I want to hear back from Jonathan, and if he is or is not going to fix it.@Sunshine812 I’d get a quote from DK to remake the ring with the stones you already have.
I bet he will!Thank you, I definitely will, but I want to hear back from Jonathan, and if he is or is not going to fix it.
Keep you posted

Hi, not sure yet, we are going to work on it tomorrow, thanks for askingAwesome! What changes will you make?
Totally agree with this! Check our Maytal Hannah’s website. Her oval settings are TDF.I'm afraud you won't be happy with the second try. He has great diamonds and moissanites but I've never really read on these boards about his great settings! He won't be able to give you the look you are looking for. You should maybe look into VIctor Canera or Maytal Hannah (cheaper than VC). She has made alot of beautiful rose gold oval halos. With Jonathan from August Vintage I think your safest bet is making it into a nice solitaire and then saving up for your dream halo from maytal
