rhodium dipping on white gold with engraving?

This may be a stupid question, but is it safe to get a white gold ring re-dipped if there is engraving and miligrain? I am hesitant to do it because it may damage the engraving, but I really would like it to look less yellow-y. If re-dipping isn't an option, do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Last year, I bought a vintage engraved white gold band which had millegrain, which I had re-dipped and it came out fine! So I don't think it should be a problem, but you should check with the jeweler doing the rhodium plating to confirm.

I'm also interested in this question! Any jewelers on here know the answer?

My understanding of rhodium plating is that it is mere microns thick, so I don't imagine it would harm any details such as engraving in any way, but again, lets wait to see what the professionals say.

My wedding ring is white gold with engraving on the inside of the band - it's been redipped in rhodium and the engraving didn't change in appearance at all.
