Thank you! The shank is..lemme look in the email..2.9mm at the base and 2mm where it meets the bezel. The bezel is 1.8mm wide. I had to break out the ruler yesterday to check it out. She did actually send pictures yesterday but they weren''t in sunlight so she didn''t like them and asked me to please not show anyone..she just wanted me to have something to tide me over haha. (And, I sent her a link to the 10 minute Jeopardy wait on youtube hehe)

It''s hard to tell how thin it will be b/c the pictures are so close up!

oh oh oh, I asked if it did anything to the color being bezeled and she said it made it more saturated, and hasn''t lost any brilliance.

Thanks everyone! I think in the gallery that''s a little dot of metal rather than a diamond..but maybe it is, I dunno!

The profile at first reminded me of dragonfly wings..now that I see the dip in it tho, it kind of looks like an open book w/the pages curled.

On the bezel, we didn''t do the little step down that they normally have..does it look ok just smooth like that?

I agree with Fly Girl that I''d only like to see a head-on shot, so to really see how it looks like "from above" instead of from an angle. But it''s really beautiful, I love how it looks very classic and, at first glance, kind of a usual design, but once you notice the details it looks so unique - love it!

I think its gorgeous - love how the cool-colored metal compliments the cool-colored stone

I actually prefer the last 2 pictures best where I can see in greater detail. I like that the stone is set so low that the culet is touching the bottom of the setting. I don't see anything wrong at all. Can't wait to see the real thing!
