Thanks, maita13! I just ordered a bunch of silver rings to try on and see which style may work best. My mom’s solitaire ring is set really low and I may need a spacer. I can wear between size 6.5 and 6.75. I’ve been checking out the carre and French cut bands as well. Never seen them in person but look very pretty.

If you don’t mind, I’ll post a pic of my mom’s ring so you can see the side of it. Waiting for delivery today of those silver rings. I ordered plain band, twisted rope band, thin band with small CZ to try out. Do you think I should get a small band with an opening as a spacer to go in between. Sorry to be thread-jacking here. I can start a new thread if that’s better.

My only concern is that others who have better ideas may not see this thread. I’m not too familiar with an open band but this one from Noemie comes to mind:

Yes, that’s what I meant on the spacer. I noticed that a number of PSers use them but I wonder if it’ll slide left and right. It’s so hard when everything is on lock down here so I can’t go to the jewelry store to inquire and try things on in person. I’m browsing the link you sent on Oldworldtreasures right now.
