Here is a line-up of all my rings, some of which haven't been out of the Smith Vault in years.

In this lot are two Tiffanys, two Cartiers, a Hearts on Fire and a solid 24k gold ring. Every ring is special. I got the ring with the sapphire leaves when skiing in Andorra with friends. My beloved mother bought me the opal for my 21st. I bought the white gold baguette diamond ring with the two layers of diamonds when my boyfriend and I split up. We ended up happily married anyway.

Lara - yes, that would make a fun necklace! I didn't wear YG for years and now I'm having a revival with it. I think Jennifer Aniston wears YG very well.

Also, sadly I do not have two Cartier Trinities, just one Trinity and the Cartier Entrelaces ring. The super-skinny rolling ring that you see is one that I bought about 20 years ago in my hometown's jewellery quarter. It's only 9ct gold and cost 40 pounds, but it looks pretty nice. It fooled you, anyway!!

So with that in mind, and I know you are itching from a serious "Cartier Rash", but if it were me, and I already had one + a pretty darn good replica that can fool others (Exhibit A -> Enerchi!), I'd be redirecting my jewel money to something I don't already have... but that's just me! Hope that helps to put some salve on that little rash you are dealing with!!

Enerchi - don't worry, the Cartier rash is not due to the scratched imminently. I was thinking of getting the super-skinny at the end of the year or early next when I will be passing through Heathrow again. I know it's the same ring but it's a different look with the different widths and although I do have an inexpensive yet effective replica, I just feel that if I had both, I'd be a glamorous woman. Like a movie star. I mean, who has TWO trinities?
