So, folks have already seen a few photos and heard my story (check my previous threads for those) and in the midst of me moving to San Francisco, I didn''t have time to do a full photo shoot...until this past weekend - yay!

I had actually been holding off on posting, waiting for a day when there wasn''t an amazing post from someone else...but something amazing (actually muliple amazings) has been posted in SMTR every day this week...so here goes nothing!

Stats: 1.42 J VS OEC, plantinum setting from Single Stone.

PS Posting in no particular order...some photos guaranteed to be better than others.

Beautiful! I just love the profile of that setting!

Kind of a dramatic shot - not sure how the lighting got like that!

OMG, THAT is AMAZING! I often love the settings that get posted in SMTR, but seriously, that is one that I'd LOVE to wear on my own finger. What an incredibly elegant setting and a delicious stone!

ETA - Are you in S.F.? That apartment scene reminds me of hoooome

Thanks everyone for the kind words =)

Now my only challenge will be to find a wedding band that is petite enough to fit/go well but also would work on it''s own...what do you ladies think?

Or maybe I''ll just have to get two....

I am really starting to dig those OEC''s! What a gorgeous stone!

Rockzilla, I just love your ring. I have saved a picture from your previous posts. I just love the tiny diamonds set in them. I showed my hubby a picture and said that is one beautiful ring!

That is so pretty! I love it. Love the stone, and the dainty yet sparkly setting!!!

Oh my goodness, I LOVE your ring so much! The chunky facets, and the setting is modern and antique at the same time. What is your ring size? Your hands look so nice and slender, I wish a 1.4ct OEC would look that big on my 5.5-6 stumpy fingers.

Your S.F. view is gorgeous, too. Miss that city so much! Thanks for the new photos, I will have to save them to my files...

Oooh, I''d go back to Singlestone and get one of those gorgeous thin vintage eternity bands! I LOVE the side profile of your ring-the chevron shape is SOOO cooool. And that stone is TDF.

Nice apartment, too!

waaaaait a minute!! You have a gorgeous OEC ring AND an fabulous apartment in San Francisco?? I''m not sure if I''m blind because of the stunning ring or blind with plain ol'' jealousy!! I love the ring and congrats on your move!

Love your apt too!!!

Congratulations on your move and your BEAUTIFUL ring!
It's absolutely stunning. The setting is a perfect showcase for your beautiful stone.

And the view from your new apartment is lovely!

I think a vintage Single Stone band would make a lovely companion. Love the idea of two

It is perfect! Thank you for not making us wait any longer!

rocky, I was at SS not that long ago and they were telling me about you finding a ring you were in love with so it was very cool when I saw your FI had snooped and found the ring!

As for the wband, is the setting vintage or a repro? I ask because if it''s vintage, I''d try to find a vintage band to match it. Either with diamonds, or a lovely platinum deco band with etched orange blossoms or something like that. If the setting is a repro, the SS could easily make a wax cast (from the existing mold) of an eternity band that matches the sides of you ering, OR, they could do a half eternity that matches the sides, and the bottom half could match the millegrain on the setting head? That would look lovely I think!

Rockzilla, your ring is GORGEOUS!! I love the stone and the setting. The side view is amazing as is your apartment view!
