Thanks again!

Erica K, I''m actually a size 6 girl myself (I have long fingers though) but I think my stone faces up big for its weight

Great idea on asking SS to make a band...perhaps they could do half eternity, and I''d have 2 looks for 1 =)

stunning!!! the cut of your stone is amazing

So, folks have already seen a few photos and heard my story (check my previous threads for those) and in the midst of me moving to San Francisco, I didn''t have time to do a full photo shoot...until this past weekend - yay!

I had actually been holding off on posting, waiting for a day when there wasn''t an amazing post from someone else...but something amazing (actually muliple amazings) has been posted in SMTR every day this week...so here goes nothing!

Stats: 1.42 J VS OEC, plantinum setting from Single Stone.

PS Posting in no particular order...some photos guaranteed to be better than others.

HI there,
Beautiful ring. The setting is absolutely lovely. Question - I am considering a J color diamond for a future project, does yours face white or have a slightly warmer / yellow color?

Fantastic ring! Very classy and timeless.

I lived in San Francisco for 17 years (most of my life), and will move back soon. Amazing city.

Beautiful, Rockzilla! Congrats again!
I love the view from your apartment ... reminds me of why my bf and I loved it so much there.

Gorgeous ring! And what a great view from your apartment! How long have you been here? Are you loving the city? You should come to the next Bay Area GTG!

WOW!!! That is one pretty diamond and one pretty setting! I love it and the detailing is amazing!

krisvrn - the ring faces up white, but if I put it next to, say an f or g, I can definitely notice that it is a bit warmer. In no case does it look truely yellow, but it is not a stark, icy white like you''d find in a D-E-F stone. I personally like the color in an antique stone, but it is something I suggest you''d look at yourself before deciding if it''s for you - I originally thought I''d never go lower than G (not sure why I picked G, as this was my first big diamond acquisition) but I fell in love with the stone and the ring and I love it, color and all. When my fiance first saw it, he was like "that''s a J?!"

Snlee - I have been in SF for about 2 weeks now. I am definitely loving the city - I came from LA and it is certainly MUCH more beautiful here (sorry LA!) But I don''t love that everything is more expensive =)

I''m going to be here for 6 months for a work transfer, so I would love to come to the next GTG...I''ll keep an eye out for when the next one is happening

Simply beautiful. S Stone is the bomb & so is that beauty!!! Enjoy that baby!

Wear in good health always.

Exactly...If you get half of it in diamonds, and half in the same detail that''s on the bottom of your shank and crown setting, the you could spin the band around for two distinct looks

CONGRATS on the ring and WELCOME to the bay area!! I've lived here for many years and I love it.

GORGEOUS stone and setting!

I too got my ring from Singlestone, one of their custom settings. I also have a J colored stone and it reminds me a lot of yours! Mine faces up white as well and it's actually harder to see the warmth than someone might think with a J...

I'm also having SS make my wedding band, it will be all old OEC stones as well. They have gorgeous wedding bands.
