Rod Finally Took Some Pics

Ok.......They''re still not too good, but at least they''re a tad better than my avatar. Photographing diamonds is tough work. The sparkles, the essence, seems to alude both of my digital cameras. Still, I promised to post some so here goes.......

Thanks everyone. I wish I could really capture the beauty of the stone, but alas, I can not. I''ll keep trying though.

To answer the tension question, they are semi-tension. I designed the rings, personally selected the stones and had them made by a custom jeweler in the Clearwater, FL., area. I am really proud of the rings and what they symbolize. And, you''d think with two digital camera''s, one a really nice Nikon Digital SLR, I should be able to take nicer pictures???

I love both (I mean ALL) of the diamonds and the setting. I remember reading and seeing them on an earlier post - very unique without taking into account the blue diamond. By the way, I like how they match aside from the center stone color. With the new pictures we can see the beautiful diamonds even better - the setting really shows off the diamond.

I love the heavy platinum settings as well.

Whats the deal with the blue diamond? Is it naturally blue or was it treated? I think its so cool that you and your partner have identical rings except the center stone is different.

Belle, I have the Nikon D70. They''ve since replaced that with the D70s, but there has been a firmware update that essentially turns a D70 into a D70s and you just download it through Nikon directly to the cameral. Thanks for the link. I''ll print it out so I can try this again.

Afraind we couldn''t possibly afford a 1 carat natural blue diamond, so it''s a treated stone, but it''s beautifully cut and is really a showstopper. More people notice his diamond, than mine.
