Rose cuts DBTY in Rose gold

Hi guys,

I found a lot of inspiration images of beautiful DBTY from other pricescopers. I thought I'd post some pics of my own DBTY...

I found 8 rose cuts = 1ctw from diamondbistro a while back for $550

My local jeweler set this for me for $479. I was hoping for BGD or IDJ, but both were way out of my budget.

The bezels are slightly uneven and yellowish-white (I asked for white gold,) but I'm OK with it considering my tight budget.

I picked the delicate thin 14kt rose chain, but now I kinda wish that I had chosen a thicker chain.

Oh wow oh wow!!! I am super envious. It looks wonderful! The size of the stones is so substantial. And the rose gold looks great with your coloring!

Can you describe the performance of the rose cuts? I fantasize about owning a piece with rose cuts but I haven't seen any outside of a jewelry store so I don't really know what they're like in real life.

I think you did really well especially in light of your budget. It's fabulous and I'm sure other people would never notice little imperfections. And I think you choose the right thickness for your chain.

Like others, can you comment on the light play of the rose cuts? I've very curious.

hey - that's FANTASTIC! I love the jump ring addition which allows 2 length options. And the Rose cuts are gorgeous!!! It really has a nice presence -but its not overwhelming. And your puppy looks STUNNING in bling!! careful now, puppy MAY want bling on all their accessories from here on in!!

Noniemarie, Maccers: It's hard to describe their performance.
They're kinda yellow (I-K) color and you can see through the center part of each stone ONLY if you're looking head-on. From far away, they just twinkle and light reflects off their chuncky facets. At about 3 feet away, you can tell obviously that they're rose cuts.
The only advantage is that I don't mind them flipping bc the two sides look almost identical.
