Since you would be wearing the WB on your right hand, you can really do whatever you want. I love the absolute uniqueness of the cushions, you just don't see that. It won't "match" per se, but then it's not right next to the Ering either, so I don't think it really matters.

I'd get it.

I think you could do the band in rounds but it is NOT necessary. Matching is not needed. Now, I have an emerald cut ring with baguettes and my eternity band, which I wear on my right hand, is a shared prong eternity band of emerald cuts. I just happen to love them. But, certainly, there is not a rule that shapes must match. My dear friend has a gorgeous pear about 4 or so carats, with baguettes, and her band, on the right hand, is a shared prong round eternity. Sometimes she just wears the band. So you really can do what you want!

Ok, haven''t been able to follow this topic, sorry, I''ve been really busy. Due to popular demand I took a 2/3 shot of the ring, had a devil of a time getting it to stand up like that though lol.

Diamondfan, I thought of having the eternity band made with rounds too but after talking to the jeweler he kind of talked me out of it. He''s a family friend and wants us to be happy with the band. The point made was that with micro pave baskets squarish stones look better when you do a repetition of them because they have longer sides to connect with each other. I''m still thinking so I might still go for the cushion band the way it was, lucky for me it was just about the size of my finger.... lol.

And you can pull it off. Yes its a lot of bling, but it is nicely proportional to your hand.

I have no issues mixing shapes at all. I have both the same because I just love emerald cuts, but I just think there is no right or wrong answer at all.

The ring and band are stunning and I think will each look great on your hand!
