Ruby or sapphire? ( Fancy slices at Multicolour.com)

Hi,

I need advice from sapphire and ruby experts. I am thinking about designing a jewelry set using ruby and sapphire slices listed on Multicolour.com, but I don't understand what does "a mixture of ruby and sapphire" mean. My assumption is that slices are corundum with colour zoning and they just called it ruby and sapphire?

Picture on their website is not that good, but they just posted a nicer image on their FB page. What do you think about colour - ruby or sapphire? ( See below)

I can only assume that the slices show red and as there's no such thing as a red sapphire they've correctly identified it as ruby and sapphire.
