For the love of me I can''t seem to find rust colored ties and pocket squares. My FI wants to have the guys (him, BM, my dad and two ushers) wear the same ties and pocket squares but we can''t find any that don''t have insane patterns on them. FI said a slight check or herringbone in a darker color is okay, but no paisley. Also, FI wants to wear a vest, so we need one to match. We''re going to look around, of course, but some online examples could help! Thanks in advance!

Hmmmm. Not sure how close this is to what you want (might be too red), but the site warns colors might look different in person anyway. Tuxedo junction has what they call "rust" Tuxedo Junction

ETA: I updated the link - first one wasn't what I meant to include.

Doesn''t David''s bridal supposedly offer tons of colors of vests and ties to "match" bridesmaids dresses?

Thanks everyone! I knew I''d find help here. Neatfreak, David''s is next, I had hoped to avoid DB since I never went there, but it sounds like we may find it there!

Ladyciel, thanks!!

Ebree, I had hoped you''d help!

This is a vest/tie combo from David''s Bridal called "Cinnamon". I can''t seem to get the up-close view, but it says it''s herringbone. I''m not sure about pocket squares, though.

EBree, that''s nice! Are you like a demon internet looker? You always find the photo that people are looking for. I feel like we should start paying you for your time!

Amber....just like your acorns, it may be possible your color choice is not in season just yet. Don't panic. When you inquire be sure to ask about fall colors coming in...don't end the call until you get in touch with a buyer or management who actually knows.

I have been waiting to ask my arborist about your acorns. He was to trim my trees but we have been under a deluge of water. Don't want his trucks sinking into my sod...or all the way to China. He would probably charge me a per mile charge. China is a fur piece from what I have been told.

The snow/ice we had ruined everything already on the ground. You see the acorn thing is a mystery. Do they fall before your wedding...I just can't remember. Wanted to tell you I haven't forgotten my promise to you...just haven't found the right one to ask.

'EBree, Super E-Sleuth!'

Ooh! Cool title.

I was recently in school (I just graduated) so I had long stretches of time to 'surf'. And I really like helping people find things they need. I tend to over-research almost everything and I find that more often than not, my Google-Fu is strong.

Amber, does the tie/vest combo from David's work? If you get desperate (and depending on the $$$ of the item) you could buy and dismantle a vest to make the squares.

I don''t know how "orangey" you want to go, but my husband wore a rusty orange at our wedding. It looked great. White really washes him out so people thought I was crazy to put him in orange, but it''s his favorite color.

If you like the color in the picture, I can go look at the tags on the vest and tie (he bought his tux and vest so they''re in the closet) and tell you the brand.

Here''s a picture where you can see it:

Wow, you guys are all amazing!!!

Ebree, that suit/vest combo is what we THINK we want (read: Fiance has NO IDEA what he wants), but griffitk has a pretty great color combo, too!!If you don''t mind, griffitk, would you look at the tags for me?

DKS, no problem! You''d think everything would center around ME, I mean, come on- it''s my WEDDING. it doesn''t happen everyday, ya know!

I''m going to have to go to DB and maybe Alfred Angelo. And a bunch of tux places. I had no idea it would be this difficult!

Hi Amber - The brand is Jean Yves Paris and it's from his "Tango" line in "cinnamon." There is a tiny diamond pattern on the vest and the tie has an embossed diagonal strip. Both aren't noticeable in photos. The place we got our tuxes from didn't carry the brand or the color, but they ordered it for us since we were buying. I hope that helps! :)

ETA: We didn't do a pocket square since we were told that you can only do either a pocket square or a boutineer and not both. However, I'm pretty sure that we could have ordered one.

Thanks so much!!! I love that color, and I think FI will probably love it, too!
