Same GIA certificate from 2 different site. Is that possible?

I found a diamond with the same GIA Certificate number 16993015 from 2 different site:

yes, many online vendor have "virtual" inventories not inhouse. who ever sells it first usually the diamond get''s "turned off" per se so the diamond is no longer available online or to retailer

What you said make sense. I just though BN diamond are exclusive.
