Hello,

Are there any wonderful jewelry stores that you would suggest I visit while in San Diego? I am still searching for the perfect setting for my diamond. Perhaps, I will be inspired! :naughty:

I would appreciate any recommendations! :wavey:

:wavey: Hi, Classy! Hope you're having a nice trip and can find some fun jewelers to visit!

Hi DS!

I have been following your adventure with the AVR! I just have not had a chance to post on your thread yet.

I am actually going to San Diego this week. We just returned from my DH's hunting trip, so now it's we are going on my "hunting"trip!
It will be a treat for us to visit California; finding some jewelry ideas would be icing on the cake! We are going to spend one day in the SF area, so I am going to try to talk DH into taking me to Lang's! He is already nervous about taking me there, but I have assured him that I am just looking for ideas. No more diamonds for Classy this year :nono: . I definitely cannot complain though! :wink2:

This isn't exactly what you are looking for, but Gemfix is in San Diego. So if you wanted to go ooogle a bunch of gorgeous colored stones, that might be worth a trip. :) :) :)

Hello Jereni!

Thank you for letting me know about GemFix! I love colored stones. I will see what I can do. :wink2:

YES. GO TO H MORADI IN LA JOLLA.
Ask for Serena to help you. She was an absolute delight, and let me play with EVERYTHING. They have two stores, one across the street from the other. I posted about em here: https://www.pricescope.com/communit...-box-antiques-at-h-moradi-in-la-jolla.180173/

They also have watches, if your DH wants to entertain himself, too.
They have a LOT of old pieces, and repro pieces, many are CS's too.
And their prices are VERY reasonable. They let you bargain.
And they list their pieces on eBay for cheaper than in store, and I've heard from some PS'ers that they let you bargain on THOSE prices, too.
I'm NOT sure if they honor those cheaper prices in person, though, but I wouldn't see why not  since they save on eBay fees.

No clue about jewelry stores.... but just wanted to say, have fun while you're here! :wavey: :wavey: :wavey:

You are so sweet! I am looking forward to spending time with Hubby. It will be a nice treat for us to relax before gearing up for the holidays. Maybe, I can snatch some pics of jewels too! :naughty:
