Sapphire and Diamond Ring from The Northway Studio

I posted this elsewhere but wanted her to have her own thread. Meet Daisy, my new sapphire ring from The Northway Studio! She is the first of her kind, the Dittany setting. The ring has a very antique, Georgian feel to it, which I adore. It is proving impossible to photograph her without a bow tie, but she doesn’t have one in person.

The stats:
18K setting cast from hand-carved wax
1.59 ct natural, unheated yellow sapphire
1.28 ctw of natural diamonds, beautifully cut

Thanks! I think Maria really nailed it on the halo proportions. What’s cool is that the halo isn’t set at the same height - the diamonds at east and west sit lower so it gives the ring more dimension.
