Sapphire help and a 'fun' tale

Forguve the forthrightness, but are you really wanting to buy a sapphire right now? Aussie dollar is so low, and the American so high it somehow doesn't make sense.

You are so right - but at the same time I'm finding that there are also some good bargains to be had because of the current environment :) .

Fair enough :), it is certainly a fun search. I am super keen to see what options you come up with .

I have been watching a couple of stones with interest on The Natural Sapphire company as they are very similar to mine and I have been trying to decide is I should sell mine or not.
I have a 8.5ct Kashmir that has come out of its 100yr old setting. It lighter then a typical Kashmir but that’s my preference. The link is to the 12ct Kashmir for sale - https://www.thenaturalsapphirecompany.com/12.40ct-kashmir-cushion-blue-sapphire-b11755-/

The picture is of a Ceylon which is similar to mine which I love. I find them market in Australia seems to prefer the lighter tones but that may be because they aren’t available to us in Australian mines. Or it may just be the light here. 4814C95B-1E93-4C5B-B3BF-AFEFED1AD780.png4814C95B-1E93-4C5B-B3BF-AFEFED1AD780.png

I've actually found the most insanely incredible Edwardian Kashmir sapphire ring that is beyond my wildest dreams, and the seller is giving me all the time I need on a payment plan, which is amazing. I'm super excited as not only will I love it to wear it, but it will be a good investment from what I have researched, given it's quality and size etc. I'll be sure to share once it's on my finger!!! So excited!
