Hello!
Could you suggest a few reliable sources to purchase a Celoyn Sapphire online, please? I’m looking for a 2-2.5 carat in a royal blue color.
Does GIA certify them? And does heated vs unheated matter?

Thank you!!

Ask admin to swap your thread over to “Coloured Gems”. There’s a “report concern” button at the bottom of your post. Just ask there for it to be moved over so you get more replies.
There are there are a few recommended vendors.
What shape are you wanting?
Heated is more common, unheated carries a premium price.
You want a proper lab report ie GIA or AGL because some treatments are considered very undesirable ie glass filling or Beryllium diffusion (improve colour). You want heat only, no signs of residue, no BE. Only a proper lab report tests and excludes or confirms these things.
Most good vendors sell their gems with appropriate lab reports, I wouldn’t recommend buying a sapphire without one.
You will probably be looking at between $2,000 and $3,000 per carat.

Gems also “darken” once set as there’s less light transmission due to the ring setting.
