Thanks for the welcome and compliments! Now I have to take some good shots of my pear. I told myself that a beautiful EC and pear would satisfy me (and it has), but seeing this place makes you just want everything

Beautiful! Can''t get any more classic and elegant than an emerald solitaire. Despite the asscher craze (which I''m becoming drawn to), I think rounds and emeralds stand the test of time.

I just popped in to say hello to you

I have made a few diamond purchases since we last spoke and a RB was one but I have not posted about them here. Also of note is a GIA Natural Fancy Yellow 1 ct oval brilliant with .30 trilliant sides, and a couple other sundry diamond items.

I am still looking ....always looking.... Also still hunting for an asscher for that Juan project or an EC for a similar design. You know me though, I won't move unless it is a great deal and I am pretty patient.

Anyhow, email or pm and we can catch up if you have time. I have really missed you and your philosophical mind. How is the ferret anyhow?

PS I remember when you got that pear and you were so nervous !!! Also for your nails, I don't know if you can get it in the US or not but I swear by Faberge Professional Intensive Growth. Try it. If you can't find it I will mail you some. This stuff is AMAZING.

Inspired by all the beautiful, detailed diamond shots floating around PS I was inspired to try to take the same (or as close to it as i could get!) pics of my ring. They pale in comparison to the greats around here, but I wanted to play too.

I indulged and tried my best Memorial Day weekend but most of my flower pics are lame, so I have some random prop/other misc shots I''ll share.

Fi (then-boyfriend) bought these little wooden bookcases from a craft stores a few years back and painted/accessorized them for me. I am not a dollhouse girl but it was a sweet gesture. Here you can see the inside door has discolored, I tried to airbrush but did a bad job so you''ll see it in real.
