Thank you! She’s worth being on Ban Island for.
I think we must have the same Lumiere photos saved! I didn’t know she has a website.
I figured that she passed through some professionals before getting to me, and if they didn’t bother sending her to the GIA, then it’s probably because her report wouldn’t have increased her value, like an M with faint brown. My curiosity wasn’t worth much to me and impatience also played a factor.![]()
Thank you! Caysie’s work is just wonderful. This is perfection!!!
You have such a way with words, thank you!Oh honey... she is! The warm candlelit glow of the oval, enhanced by the softness of the rose gold cup. The stone, the mounting - it's perfection!!
I’m not much of a gambler so I’m glad it did! Thank you.So pretty! Your gamble did pay off! You have some lovely pieces!
Thanks for posting moar pics! Now please post MOAR MOAR pics! :p
Any specific lighting conditions and/or angles?
What a beautiful young lady Dee is! And Caysie sure knows how to get the most out of a gem! Lovely workmanship and a fabulous finished product.
I took a leap of faith and had Gilded Lane send the diamond straight to Caysie to set. I had no doubt that I wanted her Lumiere setting. She has a rose gold cup around the girdle and partway down the pavilion to enhance the pink color.
I asked myself a few times during the wait whether I was nuts to buy and set a diamond without seeing it in person first. You can see from Gilded Lane’s videos that this oval is like a chameleon - sometimes pink, sometimes peach, maybe even a little gray.
Thankfully my gamble paid off and she looks pink most of the time!
