scared about treated diamond radiation

Hi there
I was reading an old article from 2007 about the blue topax radiation issue,
and I wanted to see if there was any updates on color diamonds and those being unsafe stones?

Like the whole issue seems scary, cuz I just heard of it.
Or was it just a flash in the pan like sars?

Irradiated diamonds post no radiation risk at all. Zip. Zero. Nada. Neither does blue topaz by the way.
