As many may remember, I have been wanting to get my husband a wedding band with diamonds for years and years now. My husband is the type of man who really loves to wear a wedding band, and he loves his present band very much but has often said he would like a little bling.
Nothing I found ever seemed quite right. I was really hoping to get him a new band for our fifth anniversary last May, but I could not find something in time
Last month I happened upon a Scott Kay ring in platinum that ticked all the boxes: Wide, platiunum, well crafted, manly. It was a little banged up. But I snapped it up!
It was filthy when it arrived
I was a little concerned it was too far gone to refurbish to like-new condition, or even acceptable condition!
But with some cleaning and a lot of careful patience from my wonderful local jeweler, it now looks 100% brand new! I am very impressed.
It is 8mm wide with about .48cttw in diamonds (12 x .04ct). He will love it.

This weekend we are having our first night away from the kids in a year and a half
We are going to a Christmas party and staying in a hotel over night downtown, then seeing the Hobbit on Sunday in 3d Imax! I am going to give it to him our first night out.
