Hello ladies,

I am wondering if anyone has this Scott Kay three stone setting or a non designer version of the ring and if so who did you purchase it from? I absolutely love it! I am hoping one day I can reset my stones in this ring. This Scott Kay version is very expensive!

Thanks
Sandra

It's very pretty but I have to say I like your WF three stone a whole lot more!

Thank you laila...... I am itching for pave on the band! Not sure why.

Is that really a profile shot? If so, that ring has a unique profile and quit pretty!

The ring is definitely unique and I LOVE the profile, but there's something about the split shank that seems to take away from each of the sidestones. The idea of "3 stones" seems to get lost a bit for me somehow.

Have you looked at something like this with a single pave band (where the band is a lot thinner than the sidestones) or is the split shank what draws you to this one?

And now I need to apologize because I'm rambling on & on (nothing new :P ), asking you a bunch of questions without answering ANY of YOURS, duh. I'm sorry. No, I don't have this ring and no, I don't know where you can buy it. But I'd love to see more pics of something like this w/ a single band or other options.

Hello ladies! I have this ring and actually found this forum and post trying to find examples of bands to go with it... I bought it on a screaming deal a few years ago at E.E. Robbins in Seattle but haven't worn it because I never got the center stone. So it's just been sitting in a jewelry box for about 3 years. The ring is painfully beautiful in person, pictures do not do it any sort of justice at all. I did happen to randomly end up in a jewelry store today though and found a perfect diamond for it that we could afford but decided to think on it for a bit and when we went back tonight to go get it but they had closed already :( Hoping it'll still be there tomorrow so we can pick it up and then I can get pictures if you'd like to see it or have any further questions on it.

Now the hunt will begin though for a band that works with it... I'm thinking of possibly just doing a straight band and put one on top and bottom. Otherwise I am not sure how hard it will be to find a curved one that will fit.

Here's a picture of it from when we first bought it prior to the CZ being removed from the mounting. http://i.imgur.com/dnH6b7C.jpg

I love my sailor - I love this setting too. The three stones look like they are floating and I love the profile view seeing so much of the stones. The split band makes the top down view great. I have seen Ritani styles similar. This one is more modern and has less going on the side view. The others have pave 3 sided so would be more expensive again.

I would consider doing a band that follows the side profile. Like:

Here's what my completed ring looks like. Finally got the diamond set! Also, I forgot to mention, my profile does not look like the one you'd posted. Mine is a bit different now as they adjusted the mounting a bit so it sits higher but the side stones do not sit like that, they are just prong set.
