At the end I chose the 0.44 since was a good average size.
Thank you very much, kind community of pricescope

Or am I just stupid?
Sorry I am just unsure
I think we are going too up in size.
She is a 27 years old girl that never wears jewelry so I don’t want to risk giving her something too big.
I am super doubtful about 0.44 being too small and 0.50+ being too big but maybe I am overreacting to final decision
Also, wondering what size her finger is...that can also play into the "how big it feels" phenomenon.
You can use this website to see what different carat sizes look like on different ring sizes and band widths.

Looks like she is close to size 6 3/4 or 7. That's on the bigger side (I wear a 6 3/4). You can go slightly bigger and have it still
not look too big (IMO) .5ish would be good
I see your setting does give the stone some more presence. Did she pick that out? To be honest (to me) it looks more like
a Right hand ring (or would it be left hand ring in Europe) then an engagement ring. Just my opinion...you go with what you
think she would like.
The IF clarity is going to really inflated the price tag, so I would highly recommend VVS-VS1 to get just as clean to the eyes as any IF/FL, unless there is cultural importance for the extreme IF/FL clarity.
For better price per carat, please have a look at these ACAs:

To be not too big I am evaluating

B) https://www.whiteflash.com/loose-di...r-if-clarity-round-excellent-cut-sku-a4643632
any clear winner with D color?
Compared to original one from Whiteflash (0.44) are they worse in quality? (Like: it's bigger but a bit less bright or bigger and brighter or same quality etc)
I would not go to 0.6 honestly, or it will end up to be 1ct soon
p.s.: for 0.54 there is also this one but has been suggested against
I chose the .55 one due to smaller table
I looked at it and I was pretty confident even if it was not IF
I think overall it looks better on her finger than the .44
