I put two stones up on LT, a 1.33 ct trillion chrysoberyl and a 2.15 ct precision cut cushion Mali garnet. Photos of each attached.

In addition to those, I have a few other stones I keep meaning to get around to selling. I have a Merelani Mint and a Tsavorite, probably a round spessartite garnet (close to if not Fanta), a couple of other Mali garnets, a large precision cut cushion amethyst, an oval antique pink spinel, and a sweet, very saturated but small (under a carat) pink/purple sapphire. Yes, I'm too lazy to take and post pics, but if something appeals, let me know.

I'm kind of always potentially interested in tsavs and mints - could you just post the shapes, sizes, asking prices? Then I would know if I need to see pics. Well, I don't actually "need" any more of either type of garnet but since I love those types so much - if it's something I love, I might go for it anyway, lol..
 
Lovely gemstones Minousbijoux! I'm kind of on the lookout for an oval gemstone that will fit into an existing 4 x 6 pendant setting. I plan to start a thread eventually, but not sure what the budget will be yet. I'm flexible on color though. Let me know if you happen to think of anything along those lines. Thank you!
 
another one interested in hearing/seeing more about the Merelani Mint, and also the pink/purple sapphire...

KR/Maryamm: I should've mentioned the mint and tsav are trillions, about 2 cts and 2.25 cts. Let me know if you are still interested...

So here are some pics of the little sapphire. Rockinruby, this is the closest thing I have to what you seek. This one is a cushion, is unheated, and measures 5.05x4.14mm. I'm not sure it will fit, but its the closest thing I have. Sorry if it doesn't work for you. :(sad Anyway, it is a medium toned, and moderately strongly saturated pink. I had a hard time capturing its pink, as it often appears more lavender/violet and DEFINITELY kept tricking the camera into thinking it was violet! The most accurate photo for what I see most of the time is the one taken inside at night, in low, incandescent light (first photo). Its a lovely little stone, but its "petite."

Hi Elliot: I think I have taken more pics of this spinel than any other stone I've owned! I will go ahead and post it for you, but note that I was describing the color when I said it was "antique;" not describing the cut, unfortunately. I'll let you be the judge - its a baby pink with periodic flashes of other colors and just under 2 cts (1.98 ct). I have an AGL Gem Brief for it as well.

Oh understood, I thought it was an antique cut oval! It is still very pretty though. Does it ever show orange color or flashes?

Not really...maybe very occasionally, but not in the stone's body color, just in an occasional flash.

That spinel is unbelievable and so BIG! :shock: That is a great size for a ring stone, seriously.

I blew my budget with those Gene stones, but if I had the money I'd be on that spinel in a flash. :appl:

Wow! Minousbijoux, these are all such beautiful stones! The sapphire is so pretty! I agree that it probably wouldn't work for the setting I have already, but I will ask the jeweler just to be sure. It is such a pop of color for the size and I love the color too. The new spinel you posted is gorgeous too! :love:
 
I'm also interested in the amethyst, but Sparklz can have first dibs as his/her post predates mine. I would also be interest in info on the stone's origin and the color of any flashes (if it has flashes).

The chrysoberyl has been sold.

Here are pics of the amethyst. It is a 2.77 ct precision cut cushion from Uruguay. It has a medium dark tone with excellent saturation and flashes of red and darker, more blue purple. It measures 9.5x9.5x6.2mm. In low light, it does get dark, with only flashes of color, but most of the time, its a very rich purple.

Sorry, been remiss in putting up listings. I didn't put up a listing as I was thinking that sparklz had first dibs and would contact me via my other listings. But anyone who is interested can contact me, or you can wait and I will get around to listing it - I just seem to be little slow...

Kim: if I don't hear from Sparklz within a day, its yours! Its an inexpensive stone.
 
Finally posting some pics of the garnets! These garnets go so well together that I'd love to sell them as a package. :praise:

2.24 ct, 7.7x5.8mm Medium toned, strong saturation, slightly bluish green trillion Tsavorite. A lovely stone. The color is more accurate in the slightly fuzzy pic of it on its box (the hand shot where it is the lower stone) makes it look like it has a yellow modifier. It does not.

1.9 ct, 7.9x7.9x4.3mm, light toned with good saturation, slightly bluish green trillion Merelani Mint. It is shallow in depth. This means It faces up big for its carat weight (good thing), but it shows a tilt window more easily than a deeper cut stone (not good thing). But this one has excellent color. The pic in its box shows its tilt window. It also shows its slight blue modifier.

Color and tone-wise, this is the second best Merelani Mint I've seen. I don't like trillions, but had to buy this because of the color. It is top color for a Merelani and yet I know I won't do anything with it and need the money. ;(

Unfortunately, grossular garnets have gone way up in price and these are gems I bought within the last two years. I don't know why, but it seems that inventories of both the tsavorite and Merelani mint versions of grossulars are largely disappearing and they are not being replenished.

I have taken a bazillion pics of these stones and would happily share them with anyone who is interested. And for these, because they will require a commitment of a significant dollar amount, I will offer a return period.

Interesting. For some reason, when I upload the first pic of the tsav, it translates it as more yellow than it is. I tried color correcting it a bit, but it still is showing a yellow on PS (on my monitor) that doesn't exist :((
