My hubby bought me a heart shaped diamond (in a ring) for Valentine''s Day. I don''t know the specs other than that its 6.3 mm. I suspect it has a low clarity (with a loupe I see lots of white inclusions) and I know its cut for spread but it is pretty and it does have a nice heart shape. I want to make a pendant out of it and have already priced this at a local jeweller. My question is, what do you guys of think of this setting for heart shaped diamond?

Do you think it will look nice with a diamond that is somewhat less perfect than the diamond in the picture? You can''t see any inclusions on my diamond with your eyes and it does sparkle, but not as much as my ACA earrings from whiteflash. Do you think I would be better off doing a more normal setting, like a rabbit ear? I was thinking of this also, but my feeling is that the rabbit ear makes it difficult to see the shape of a heart pendant.
also, do you think the style shown in the debeers ad would keep flipping over annoyingly? What could I do to minimize this?
Thanks.
