I like the Sareen setting with or without the cathedral shank, actually. The only thing is, I like the rounded inside edge that Maytal does over the sharp edge on the Sareen ring. Maytal's shank looks better to me, so I'd figure out which head you like best, and then get quotes for that. The Maytal ring that can have bands sit flush has a square center stone. It would look different with a round head. You don't have to have the side bar on the basket like that, either.

It would be round... That's the only picture I have right now. He would do a new one for me... This one came from his website.

Since you have seen their pave, you know best if it is to your standards. And if it is, it sounds like that may be the way to go since they can make the little changes you want and it will match the bands you already have!

I love that one... Actually Grace offered to sell that one to me but I really want platinum... I don't think Grace made that setting.

Just a note of correction as I still actually have the setting though it houses a tranny now. It was not for sale through Grace though I know she has sold other versions of it so perhaps one of those?

Yes Grace's bench did make the setting. Due to the pave type I wanted and my budget only LM, ERD and JBeg fell into my budget. I ended up going with Grace as I just like working with her. The pave is actually right up there with my VC and LM's band so she is now my first choice for pave when I don't want to pay for hand forged (which is a craze I'm way over). Hope that helps!

Mayk if you want my .02 cents since I think I hold the reigning collection of pave rings for almost all vendors (I swear it is a disease) just go with the vendor that you have the most confidence in without breaking your budget. I have rings from just about everyone (new and bought 2nd hand) and there is very very little difference unless you are crazy like me and loupe them then blow up pictures 100x to see the minute differences between them. If you want a budget friendly pave ring that will blow your mind I will honestly stick with Grace or Erica. I like ERD but I think Grace/ Erica's micropave is out of this world for their pricing. Plus their settings just have a general curve, almost feminine appeal to me that I don't see in any other vendors accept LM, if that makes sense? If you have no budget I would pick LM over all others. But once again I have a sickness where I really pick apart my settings. I like them a certain way and to have a certain grace (perhaps gracefulness) to them. So far really the only rings that I own that truly blow my socks off are by Grace/ Erica, LM and Singlestone.

Hope that helps just a little bit.

SB you are the best. Thank you!!

You're most welcome  :P Sorry for the long rambling post but pave vendors are sort of my soap box on PS! Obviously I have no experience on some of the vendors you posted about, so I just commented on those whom I have had experience with and been extraordinarily happy with the end result. Still I would reach out to everyone and get quotes. Never hurts to ask.
