wow, storm, we have diamond twins. I have a J VS1 with medium blue as well! i also thought it was overkill but i couldnt pass up the cut, price or the medium blue at the time.

Storm, I don''t know how else to ask you this since we don''t have pm''s, but I am considering a diamond with a helium report (which I can''t figure out how to attach) that has these stats:

crown angle dev.- .14
pavilion angle dev.- .21
table dev.- .25

CA: 34.58
PA: 40.77
table: 56.34
depth: 61.16

The diamond is beautiful (as Jon promised) and the numbers meet your personal approval rating, I think (I hope!).
Can you guess the cutter? I wonder if it is the same as yours?!

From just that info nope cant figure who the cutter is.
It is likely one of the other cutters however, but the one that cut mine on occasion ventors outside its usualy numbers if the rough calls for it or on a recut.
Mine/hers was a recut from a .51ct stone so the numbers are a little different than the usual for them but well within my favorite zone.
Soulds like a kicken diamond.
All the cutters gog uses are top notch and he selects the cream of the crop from them.

I couldnt afford a big enough asscher her next upgrade with be an asscher.

She headed back to her sisters yesterday then in about a month is heading back to Canada.
