Shibui (渋い) - Octavia ring by Dr. Diesel & CvB

Intoxicated. Spellbound. Transfixed. Blissed out? Forgive me, but I am at a loss for words.

Was it the fabulous evening with friends spanning 3 decades? The Suntory Whiskey? The Octavia? The exquisite care and craftsmanship of CvB?

Maybe it’s all of the above. I find myself enchanted, without words.

I was quite surprised by this Friday evening in California, away from my home on a Pacific island. Even now, after 2am, I find myself wanting to share my experience.

Forgive my ineloquence and absence of glamour shots…but this is what I find myself dozing off to and wanting to share what seems to be a quasi-mystical experience.

For now, I will let the camera speak to a very authentic moment.

Words are for later. Suffice to say. It happened.

Wow! What a stunning Octavia and such a unique setting. I love how it showcases the octagonal outline of the diamond perfectly.

There are no prongs to bend.
