Feedback on Emerald Cut LGD

Hi all!

This is my first lab grown diamond (and first emerald cut) purchase and I wanted opinions!

Purchased from Ritani (diamond page)

Not sure what to look for, scoured the threads here about ECs and aside from numbers/proportions/steps on & off, the main advice was to see it in person

Can you pls let me know if I should keep it or continue my search? This will go in my original ER setting (I am getting it reset by DK). Still feeling a bit sentimental about letting go of the ring my husband chose for me (on his own, nonetheless), so decided to stick an LG stone in it for the meantime and wear as a RH or travel ring.

Please me know if there are any additional photos/videos for me to take in order to evaluate it better, thank you!

Sorry I have no helpful knowledge of ECs - but this looks so gorgeous to me! What do you think of it after seeing in person?? I've been shopping for one myself recently, actually around the same carat size. I've been longing for a bezel set EC solitaire. I had kind of given up but after seeing your videos and pics... I think it's back on the table !

Hi @e2the3rd ! Thank you! I like it, it's very nice and sparkly - but I keep second-guessing my decision. I think it looks good, but I don't know if the way it behaves is typical for an EC? I've never owned an EC before (or even seen many in person) so unsure

A bezel set EC solitaire sounds dreamy! I looked at quite a few diamonds on Ritani, Adiamor, and JA and it seems Ritani had the best selection for my specs/budget, so check them out! I also like how they are transparent on how much the stone costs, what their markup is, etc.

Hoping one of our diamond eagle eyes can let me know if this is a keeper! @DejaWiz @Kim N @Karl_K ?

I think its a good one!
I am not seeing any cut issues in the images or video.
It displays the ability to walk the light across the stone and get a tour of its environment.
That is a very good sign.

Thank you so so much for the feedback, @Karl_K ! I’ve been reading a lot of posts re: EC and your advice/responses so super glad it appears I was able to apply your knowledge to this choice!!

Again, I appreciate your expertise and am super stoked to have (another) Karl K-approved stone! Btw the Asscher you helped with is still with DK (sent directly to him for a project) so I can’t wait to see it in person!
