I love this thread! Here are some celestial pieces. I never wear the moonstone necklace!
I bought it in India 30 years ago. 20220918_145126.jpg20220918_145017.jpg

My gorgeous Southern Cross constellation necklace. 18kt - and heavy - with somewhere around .8 - .9ctw of very nice diamonds on a 30" 18kt chain. Being Australian, this locket reminds me of home. The diamond on the back is to represent the constellation's pointer star. I recently had the prongs reconfigured as I wasn't happy with the original iteration, but there's photos here of both.

And with new prongs:

And lastly, a perspective shot. I should probably put this in the perspective thread, but figured it might be useful here so people could see how it hangs. This is my standard, day-to-day jewelry.

@mrs-b Would you mind telling me how many grams the locket alone is? I’m thinking of a locket and wondering if it’s solid enough…

45.5gms - without the chain or diamonds. It's HEAVY. I was originally going to use a premade antique locket - but it wasn't nearly sturdy enough. Without being too specific - even without the diamonds, this cost thousands and thousands to make. If I hadn't wanted this all my life, I wouldn't have done it; I could have had something lovely - or even something similar - for a fraction of the price. Mind you, people here pay way more for all sorts of things - and if diamond necklaces are your thing, this could be a bargain by comparison, depending on what you're considering.

Wowza!!! 45 grams! I had no idea it was that heavy! No I just saw an antique one I liked and it’s about 9g and was just mulling it over. So yes the weight of yours is in another stratosphere lol.

I've enjoyed seeing all of your lovely celestial pieces!

Temple St. Clair has a line of celestial pieces. I hope to add a couple to my collection eventually!

But for now, the closest I can come is her blue moonstone Sea Star pendantTSC Sea Star 1.jpg.....

Gosh, I have no idea why that picture posted twice! Sorry about that!

Went overseas for a few months and came home to this. I haven’t seen her in the sun yet, crappy guest room lighting at 10pm. Normally I like brooches as they are, but this will be rhodium plated and converted to a necklace ala JPie. C5A37E95-B6C4-4C69-8711-CA32BB8725E6.jpeg

Temple St Clair carved rock crystal MoonFace, 18 kt YG bezel with 3 diamonds. The chain is 18 kt and about 30". I love this guy!IMG_0806.jpg

I’ve been wanting an antique crescent moon, but they always seem to get sold before I can snag it! I’m obsessed with oxidized gold lately so this was my consolation for missing out on all the antique ones!

Super beautiful and I love the gold connector it’s on!

thank you! I'm undecided about the larger oval connector. I like when it's east west but just with weight distribution it slides N/S lol

Not all of my celestial jewelry, but I thought this combo looked pretty together. A star shaped connector, “the stars” tarot, and a sapphire starburst pendant:

Ooh I think I can finally contribute to this thread! My new-to-me Victorian moonstone earrings with a star-shaped buttercup setting (“moon”stone and stars count, right?):

Oooo I love the combo! Very celestial! Is the tarot card solid gold? I'd love to purchase one! I've always been drawn to The Empress or The Moon.. makes sense...she's tied to gemstones and the moon is very pearlescent

On my latest visit to the NY Diamond District, a gold bar brooch caught my eye so I went into the store to see it in person, but I also saw this gorgeous antique OMC crescent in the same tray. Of course I walked out with both lol.

It is platinum and 14k YG with ~3 carats of diamonds and I think it is early 1900s, though I want to get it properly appraised to confirm).

Can't get it to stay facing up if I wear it horizonally but I think it looks great this way too :)

Sorry I missed your reply all this time @LemonMoonLex ! Yes, the tarot is solid gold, and there’s a diamond in the star at the top. I purchased it from Katmojo Jewelry a couple summers ago. She has moon cards but I don’t see an empress.

Oh they're all so beautiful! Thank you so much for linking them! I appreciate it. The star one is very jewelry focused as well because it looks like a woman's hand reaching for some sparkle haha

Gorgeous!
