Guys, threads like this just aren't fair. I don't own a BB stone, and now I just.have.to.buy.one.

My measly stone budget is being pulled in a lot of directions. I made a list last night (including the BB stones you guys made me want), and if I am lucky enough to get to all of the stones on my list before someone else does, I'm done shopping for 2011.

I still haven't set that spinel yet, though I do like taking it out and playing with it because it's so darn sparkly. I thought I wanted a ring but then I was looking at Patrick Irla's stuff and thinking...maybe I want a necklace I saw this http://www.etsy.com/transaction/39388651 and thought that might be a good idea but maybe with rose gold.

i posted some pics in the original spess thread. they totally suck tho! my BB tourmaline pics were even worse.. it was nothing than a blur. And the tourmaline from litnon is going back. it's a little less vibrant than i expected.

Oh FrekeChild, that Aqua is gorgeous! I have been looking at it over and over after lusting way too long over another aqua (read: Gone) on the JBEG website. I can't wait to see some shots of that beauty.

I have a Tanga Rhodolite Garnet, that I got sometime last year. I took a couple of pics when i got it, but would like some better photo's. I haven't posted, as I'm still learning my way round, and am looking for the info on posting pics and if i need to resize them first?

I also purchased the triangle Sphene Barry had/possibly still has, on his website, for my 11yr old daughter. We are having baby #3 in a couple of months, and she has been drooling over this stone for weeks, so much in fact that when she saw the big red SOLD underneath the other night, she burst into tears. An hour later on, I couldn't handle it anymore and had to confess that it was me. I haven't got it yet, as I contacted DanielM and Caren and have asked for it to be set as a pendant in Argentium Silver. It was to be a surprise present for her for when he baby sister arrives.. When it arrives here i will most definately have to take some photo's (though I'm sure my girl will be doing that anyway lol)

The ring is an 8mm pink tourmaline and the pendant is an 8mm aquamarine.

GREAT stones everyone.

My first stone cut by Barry was bought prior to him running ACS. It's a Spessartite Garnet.

Yes it does.

Here is a photo of the Peridot cut by Barry at ACS taken at night with halogen and incandescent lighting in it's case.
