Rubies ... WOW! That is a LOT of ring! I love it. It looks smashingly elegant on your hand!

I just realized ... I may have started this thread, but I don't think I ever contributed to it! My band is nowhere near the size of some of these lovelies, but since it does outweigh the solitaire it goes with ....

I was unsure about eternities until I had one, but I would never go back either. Advice:

- Watch the height. If you don't have a natural gap between the bottom of your fingers, check that something that high will be comfortable. Even just make a fake from paper or foil or something. I wear 2 eternities next to each other, to get width without height. And watch for high or sharp prongs.

- Watch the size. This might be the trickiest bit. If you've been getting rings a bit tighter to stop a top-heavy stone spinning on your finger, you don't have to do that any more. If your fingers expand a lot between seasons, hmmm. If it's too big & at least you can always wear a guard ring, or use a guard. Also, eternities on a black leather string make great-looking pendants!

I've had this bad boy for a few months and figured I might as well finally add it. This is by far the most I've ever spent on a piece of jewelry so I tied it to a lot of events lol. Technically this will be celebrating a big year for me, 30th birthday, seventh wedding anniversary, and potentially starting a family (still working on that ).

The seventh wedding anniversary is a biggie for us because we were married on our seventh dating anniversary. In turn, we decided to always celebrate the sevens instead of the fives or the tens. I was hoping to have a seven stone asscher band made, but I'll take a 20 instead!

This bad boy is 5.07 cts, around a size 6. The diamonds are actually carre. No clipped corners oddly enough. All vs-vvs stones and G-I color. It's quite comfortable and I find myself playing with it endlessly.

It's been over a month, figured it was time to add my bling

4.71 tcw, 15 stones just over .3carats each. Side 5.75, so sometimes loose, and right when got or excercising.

Got it from ID Jewelry who was great to work with. From our first conversation, to my doorstep, was 2 weeks!

Now what's the best way to keep this thing clean?? I've become obsessed with that.
