Heh, no my engagement ring is a diamond. Although *looks around to make sure her husband isn't watching* I sometimes wear it in place of my engagement ring.

Mine. Peridot from Jeff White, setting by Daniel M.

fREKEcHILD;

Can I see a basket shot of this pendant please, the side and back with the chain going through it?

Thanks@!

I have three... a champagne topaz from PT, a peridot from Bespoke Gems, and a tourmaline from Precision Gems. I don't have very good pics on this computer so these will have to do until I can check my other computer.

Stats -

topaz - 8 mm

tourmaline - 7.5 mm, cuprian

peridot - 8 mm, Pakistan

BUMP!

I can't imagine there aren't new additions out there to add!

Ohh sadly I have none to add as I just traded my 3 for benchwork (new honey Zircon ring in SMTB) but I did have:

1x 6mm rhodolite Garnet from Tan
1x 7mm Citrine from Doug at Bespoke Gems
1 x 6mm clear Zircon from a local gemshow

Love looking at this thread!

You know, I just wonder if someone has something pink - yeah, yeah that's it - like an asscher cut pink spinel, to add to the thread. Hmmm, in my dreams, I'd like it to be a JW asscher cut pink spinel in something subtle, elegant and art deco inspired....[dream sequence music commences here...]

I was thinking the very same thing…hmmmmmm, I wonder...;)

Freke, oh Freeeeeeeeke!

:wink2: You guys are dorks.

Two of the best asscher cutters (IMHO) around: Jeff White pink spinel, 3cts and Peter Toracca lavender spinel 1.6cts.

What a coincidence that you happen to have exactly what I pictured in my mind's eye, Freke.

Oh, and why yes, yes I am a dork - and quite proud of it. :wink2:

Love looking at this thread!

That is a beautiful ring, and the stone you've posted is very beautiful too! Even if it's not yours, it's great eye-candy!

FrekeChild,

That's ok with me, and yep - those two babies are what I was looking for! And, I have to believe there are others out there that want to come out and play too!

Here's my blue sapphire.

FrekeChild, that lavender spinel is TDF!

periwinkle girl,

Your sapphire is gorgeous!!!

Peri, that's such a pretty sapphire and neat setting.
Here's my asscher: cut by Grey Weaver and sent by Dana at Mastercut gems. This pic is a tad dark and doesn't show the glow of this tourmaline. 20121209_163920.jpg

Periwinklegirl - super pretty, and I really like the setting - I've seen anything like it before!

Wordie - I love the color of your tourmaline, even if it's not as glowy as IRL - do you have setting plans for it?!?!

Keep 'em coming - such beautiful stones!

Ok-I've officially added asscher cut stones to my someday I will own list.
