Show me your cushions with Side stones

I didn't get much response in rocky talky. I am torn on two settings for the cushion we've chosen. One has two larger side stones. Does anyone have a cushion set in the three stone fashion, or with two side stones followed by smaller stones on the band? I didn't see many in the show me your cushions thread...

I'm running out the door but mine is a 3 stone with a more elongated cushion. (thread on the ring, Dec 2008.)

Thanks bebe and antiquelover! That helps a little. This is a squarish cushion and I'll be pairing it with rounds. I really think it will look great. I think SO is mostly nervous that it will get lost in the side stones. I don't think it will though. I'd love to see more!!!

Dragonfly, here's a picture of my custom made ring from BGD. Center cushion is 1.01 with traps and Brian's signature diamonds. I will be selling the setting if you're interested.

Thanks, Dragonfly. I really love that setting and get compliments all the time. I'm changing the center stone and this setting just won't work with the stone.

Thanks for reposting the setting here, it's very pretty! The best way to make sure that the center stone won't get "lost in the setting" is to make sure there's a good size difference between the dimensions (mainly the length) of the center stone and the diameter of the side stones.

Funny, I had thought I had posted a thread on my demantoid garnet, but then I realized it was on a totally different forum.

Ya know, the sad thing is that I am divorced now (been about 4 years), so I lurk more than post. I know it's weird. It's still my jewelry but I rather read about happy folks getting engaged. Hopefully one day I'll be engaged again, but for now, I just like giving/reading advice and looking at pretty rings....

Here's a few more pics though, if folks are interested (3+ ct demantoid garnet in platinum with two 1/4 ct. F color VS1 trap diamonds and two itty bitty .05 ct accent diamonds. size 4):

aw sorry briolette, at least you have very gorgeous rings to show!! The teeny tiny diamonds on the ends are a beautiful touch. What are the dimensions on the side traps? (and also the dimensions of your demantoid for comparison?)
