Since CS is allowed, here is mine, don't know the spec as I was very young when my mum bought it.



If I were asked to choose my own ring by a SO, I would choose a round neon pink Sapphire flower cluster. Chances of that happening is slim so I may have to save up and buy my own.

An update for my flower cluster ring project - I have purchased the centre stone!

It is a 7mm pink Sapphire that Jeff W sourced for me during his trip to Tucson in 2020 shortly before Covid-19 kicked in, recut from a slightly larger stone that had a small window. This stone is my most expensive CS to date!



This is the cluster ring setting that I have always loved ever since I saw it some years ago, an air gap halo, with no millgrain and a wider comfort shank:

Brand new custom cluster by Steven Kirsch in NYC. The halo stones 10x 10 pointers were from my chunky channel wedding band (T & Co), so they are ideal, the central diamond was my budget FourMine 1.15 ct K color FIC. The skill in this setting is jaw dropping. Working with SK was a breeze. He immediately knew how to create my dream setting after one phone call. I feel like royalty wearing this!

Finally got this sweet thing sized and ready to wear! Purchased pre-loved from another PSer, I was drawn to the yellow gold, flush low profile mount, and interestingly, the odd number (7 vs 6 or of stones around. I scoured the forum and didn't see a lot of clusters with 7 around. I like wearing my rings the same way and makes it easy to know which way is up . Some diamonds are chipped in some way, but plenty of fire in her still!

This is a vintage platinum ring I bought a while ago and wear as a pinkie ring. It's had some jackleg repairs and the center stone is a smaller replacement in so-so MRB cut. I want to get this restored, with a larger center OEC diamond. Or colored stone, perhaps ruby.

My cluster. 1.51ct G VS2 with 26 and 27pt stones in the sides - all E-F VS/VVS. Roughly 3.6ctw. Size 7, platinum. To my eye, this ring is perfect. Every prong, every angle is so precise - I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out. Made by DKJ.
