Dear God another amazing collection too!!
My favorite 9 items.
The garnet ring is not a favorite, so that will be reset soon. The stone color matches the bracelet, it just looks dark in this photo. My wedding ring will also be reset, hopefully in the near future and I have white gold hoops in the works. That will leave me with 12 jewelry items. I've sold everything else (well, I have a few more to go) and it feels great to have everything in this one small tray. I rotate and wear everything now.
Thank you! It use to be a ring and I converted it to a pendant as I felt I would wear it more that way. Has old cut diamonds in it. Another one of my Ebay treasures!Wow nice collection! Can you tell me more about the floral (ish) diamond pendant?
Wow, I can’t believe your SA sent them to you to try on! I’ve mentioned wishing I could try on the sample length bracelets more than once, but there was no offer to send them! That may be due to using the NY boutique as they get so much business that they may have a policy to not send them out.Hi @diamondseeker2006 and @donnabrsd
You ladies probably already know this, but VCA has sterling silver Vintage Alhambra test bracelets in every size so that you can try them on and select the perfect size/motif spacing for your wrist. Last spring when I bought my onyx bracelet, my SA FedExed me three of the testers to try out (wear around the house) before we had links removed from my real bracelet. I loved the way my shortened real bracelet turned out, the motifs are a beautiful distance apart.
Here's what the testers look like (the sense of luxury and attention to detail on even these simple testers is exquisite) :

Well, my other area of collection over the years has been china, crystal, and silver! I have been recently getting rid of some of that because most sits unused, too! I know we already discussed our preference for white Corelle for actual use!
I agree about the chains on the Alhambra bracelets. They are too long in the first place. They'll shorten them for free in the first three months (and for a small fee anytime after that). They'll take out a double link between each motif, and then the bracelet ends up at about 6.75". I am tempted to do that with all of mine, because I would prefer the clovers to be closer together. I would just like to try on one that size to be sure I can easily put it on! I love the link bracelet you had made! You practically have to have a white gold one custom made since most of the heavy link bracelets available are in yellow gold. I do think those are great for casual wear!
Beautiful! Need a close up of your sapphire!!
Wow, good to know about the testers. Thanks!Hi @diamondseeker2006 and @donnabrsd

So inquiring minds would like to know your wrist size and if you decided to shorten yours! If so, how many double links did you remove? I apologize if you’ve posted that before!

I have not shared on this thread because I just didn’t want to really examine which my favorite pieces were. But I guess today I could face the reality honestly. Here are my current top five. And then I’ll show you the others I had to cut off the list. These five I wear the most. Sweet pave studs daily default earrings. 3 stone every day. Onyx and chalcedony make me marvel at their beauty every time I put them on, alone or together. Vintage pave stud earrings make my heart start thumping.
As much as I love the pieces below, I had to first include the pieces that make my heart beat fastest. Then comes these 3 below in this order.
1. First runner up. Perlee bangle
2. Second runner up. 10 motif Chalcedony.
3. Third runner up. Cartier Ecrou. However, I am wearing this bracelet more than any of my other bracelets simply because it's more cool than special, if that makes sense. It's very low key, almost too low key but that's ok cause the just odd/strange factor is something I love.
Classic, timeless pieces. I love how they all flow together so beautifully.
These are all beautiful and classic!!
So chic and beautiful and harmonious! Love every one of them!

I can’t do this thread.
Literally - I can’t choose only five.
I’ve sold a few things lately, and I was thinking about what else I could rehome of with happy heart and clean conscience… Barely anything. I’m at a point where I genuinely love nearly everything I’ve got.
I’m definitely not a minimalist.
MGR, I do really love your collection and it really resonates with me. I love your three stone, which has inspired me for years, except you made the wise decision to get ACAs for all your classic diamond foundational pieces. I love all your pieces and I can see them being worn on a daily basis, low maintenance, and appropriate for all occasions, hanging out in sweats or a wedding. I am finally getting close to this, but just that I've discovered I love the VCA derivation for all these classics.
