Hmmm you’re probably right about the color. I’ve been looking for something champagne or orangish so maybe I wouldn’t be satisfied. I’ll keep an eye on their inventory!
 
I want to follow this thread. I've been looking at some of their semi mounts and am very tempted. However, the only thing that kinda worries me is that their prongs for some their settings look very short. I saw someone on Etsy comment that her jeweler wouldn't work with a setting she bought for that reason. :( I hope to read more reviews on here...
 
I went to MDZ/I&R in Chicago last year. Very nice people, especially the young woman at the front desk. I saw a lot of nice rings, but didn’t buy because their settings just seemed too dainty for my big farmer hands-lol! And for some reason they don’t (or didn’t then) make settings in 18k rose gold, which is what looks best on me. 14k rose, yes. 18k yellow, yes, 18k rose, no. I didn’t look too closely at the prongs in their settings, sorry. Maybe someone else knows.:?:
 
I had a delightful experience with Ivy & Rose! They recently set a stone for me in one of their semi-mounts. Sara was just a dream to work with, and the setting, for the price I paid, is perfect and lovely. I am honored to add it to this thread!

Posted this in the color stone forum in fabulous rings under $1250 dollars. This is my first ivy and rose ring. A 1.62 purple/pink spinel in Art Deco setting. I had a great experience and highly recommend them. This is my first spinel and I just love it! Sorry for the crappy picture.
 
I just received my setting from Ivy and Rose. Holy crap, it is gorgeous! Unfortunately I need to have it resized...I didn’t realize my ring finger was much smaller than I thought. I’m having it done by my jeweler along with the setting, but here is a photo of how it looks! :kiss2:

I was advised that the prongs would be longer than what is shown on their Etsy page in case anyone is interested in getting a setting from them. Anyway, I will post another photo of the final product to share.

Thanks, me too!!! The jeweler estimated by end of next week but hopefully it gets finished sooner than that!

I will definitely share when it's done. It's so beautiful and I couldn't believe the setting was under $300!

It's not as big as it looks, I swear! My fingers are just small.

The diamonds on the sides are G-H, but they are so small they look white. :)

In it is a Barry Bridgestock pink tourmaline I purchased from a PSer. Pics aren’t great but wanted to share (also posted in under $1250 thread). I love the setting and all of the fine details. I agree with others that the settings are thin and they are sized a bit small. But for the price I paid and service I received, I’m thrilled and will be back.

WOW, it turned out stunning! This is the setting that takes a 7-8mm center, correct?

@bbk0885 this is an 8mm, but setting fits 7.5 to 8. With an 8 some metal has to be carved inside the bezel, that's why I just let I&R do it. The ring is so beautiful, I haven't taken it off yet! Highly recommend;))
 
The 8mm looks absolutely beautiful!
