Show me your J, K, L, M fancies in a halo please!

Hi,

I am getting my J oval haloed and wondering what the warmer fancy will look with the probably whiter halo. I specified fancies since warmer rounds tend to look whiter than fancies If you can, please also specify the size of your halo melee. Than you so much!

There are a few here that you can see in the L/ M range that have halos.

My O/P is being shipped out to VC this week to get a halo, but I'm using full cuts so there wont' be a huge color contrast like there would be with single cuts.

Sarah, I thought it was the opposite? That single cuts where better with the warmer stones because they showed less contrast?

Mine is not a fancy, but it is a certed J color in an F/G Gabriel & Co. halo. I actually think the higher color halo improves the look of the J center stone. My melee stones are two and a half points each in this ring.

I just wanted to add... my J didn't look white at all (because it's round), she had a very definitely body color that was noticeable when in a solitaire setting. Maybe because mine is an old stone and they didn't have Ideal cuts back then.

Ok I just looked at Victor's email and I think I got it all wrong. We are going to use single cut melee as they won't be as bright white as full cuts. I believe his words were "they are more mellow".

My GIA "L" asscher in a G-H halo with full cut melee by DBL. It usually looks white to me and no one has ever thought it was an "L". Even GOG thought it was an "H", it has no fluorescence either.

Thanks e eryone for your help. I don't mind the warmth of my J, but I don't necessarily want there tobe huge contrast with the halo melee either.... Pete had said that it could take little more work to find warmer melee to match. I think I would want then closer tomy shank melee of H/I... I am also thinking half pointer for yhe halo for a delicate halo and leave the oval as main attraction... hopefully they go well together!

Mine is an M! Center stone, as well as the 2 side stones. The halo is made up of very white diamonds.
Hope this gives you an idea of the contrast!
