Thanks-- the band is from Etsy-- just very lightly textured and super thin!

I''ll try to get pics of the profile a little later

I totally agree about their designs-- simple and so timeless, and I mean TIMELESS.. I could imagine them being in style hundreds/thousands of years ago (and hundreds of years to come!)

(can''t wait to see your''s one day .. heh heh

Where is your diamond from Coati?

BB, I''m probably not the best one to advise, but I *think* its supposed to stay under 500...
(can''t wait to see ''em bigger!! Love those pics!)

This thread makes me happy.

Oh Coati, I was wondering how you got that distinctive color - I absolutely love it, and I had no idea it was because it was unplated gold. It''s so lovely!

I agree packrat - even though "the whole package" is amazing, the profile of Coati's ring is what stole my heart !
30.gif
The exposed culet, the milgrain, the flow of the split shank - all of it is perfection in its simplicity! (lol, I may be feeling a lil lyrical after a couple wines tonight)

Coati, you know how I feel about your ring hon - since you first got it I have had your photos saved to ogle on a regular basis..I knew I wanted one, and now I am sooo stoked to be able to get one!! Thankyou again for the gracious inspiration.

Other JM lovers, hopefully within a month or so I will have this umbalite garnet set in a ring like Coati's - mine will be YG with plat bezel and side wraps - I sincerely can not wait

(I hope nobody minds me posting without "the finished product" - I'm just very excited!)

Stunning!! I love the unplated gold. So will that stay that colour forever now? Sorry if its a silly question

Also what camera do you have? Your photos are amazing!

Yup--the color is stable. I love the unplated gold, because it''s permanent. I also love the hint of warmth!

I took these pics with a little Canon powershot.

Thanks hon!!

I hope she doesn''t mind, but HeavyMetal posted her brooch in another thread-- its one-of-a-kind with a ruby, tourmaline and diamond:

Oh thank you! I love the profile--and that wrap on the back! That is such a simple and stunning piece. I really would love to set a colored stone in this setting. Your moonstone is perfect. What finger do you wear it on?

I also chatted with her about this setting.
