My ring is celebrating its nineth birthday today and I am still in love with my stone. I am glad that I had the sense to pic something fairly timeless as I was quite young when we got engaged. The setting is a little worse for wear, but DH is ok with the idea of finding a new home for the stone in the next year or two

Those are tapered baguettes, ala tiffany, but I had no idea that Tiffany even made jewelry when I got the ring

. My wedding band is soldered to the ering so that this really awkward angular piece of gold that would curve around the center stone could be removed and all you now see is another baguette.

Okay ,,, I said that I was going to get some better pics of my marquise because those other pics makes it look terrible... so I had a little sun coming through my window this afternoon and snatched the camera for some shots... I hope these turned out better!
